Searching for the stairway to Heaven

In 1917 a prophecy of a miraculous occurrence inspired thousands of people to arrive at Fatima, Portugal on October 13. They reported witnessing what was called a “dancing of the sun”. Yet there is no independent corroboration of such an event. More than unwise, it is irresponsible to dismiss those reports. Consider that something in those minds created a simulacrum of a phenomenon for their brains to witness without receiving input from the eyes.

The denial of God is absurd. The concept of God is from God in our mind.

God’s muse is lurking in our minds, wanting to enlighten, waiting for willing minds to wonder. God’s presence is near, in particular timing. Our minds are meant to be active, not submissive.

We are forbidden to apply the judgement of evil particularly so we don’t shrink away in shame or fear because of our own thoughts. (Gen 3:9-11) Also the declaration of evil is a finality that prohibits the very wondering that is our searching.

The beauty of the Noah’s Ark story is its preposterousness. Surely no one will believe this actually happened. Surely they will wonder why it is included in the sacred canon. Alas.

Jesus is present, correcting errors, in a publication titled A Course In Miracles. The first sentence of the last paragraph of the Text reads, ‘And now we say “Amen”’. (Rev 22:21) Allow the pages to open where they will and experience the miracle of God in our mind.

More than any knowledge, it is most important for us to establish personal connection with the friendly muse of God in our common Mind. It is not wise to wait until the Last Hour.
